EYFS Transition
We are SO EXCITED to welcome the new 2025-26 EYFS Cohort to Rowanfield.
This is the information that has been sent out so far:
Dear Parents,
We are delighted to welcome you and your child to Rowanfield Infants. Allocation Day is an exciting time for all of us and we are thrilled to have your family join our school community.
We will send out more information after the Easter holidays but, for now, please note these important dates on your calendar:
- Wednesday 18th June 2025 - Starting school welcome parent meeting in the infant hall (6pm onwards). Please report to the main reception.
- Friday 4th July 2025 – New starters stay and play. Groups to be confirmed (you will be allocated a morning, 10.00-11.30 am, or afternoon, 1.00-2.30pm slot).
- School transition starts from Friday 5th September 2025.
- Staff will conduct home visits to meet you and your child in your home setting (Tuesday 2nd September to Thursday 4th September – a day and time slot will be allocated).
- Your child will be allocated a morning (8.55am-11.15am) or afternoon (12.45pm-3.00pm) slot for their first week of school (from Friday 5th September until Friday 12th September).
- All children will attend 8.55am – 12.45pm for their second week of school (Monday 15th September until Friday 19th September)
- All children will be full time, 8.55am-3.00pm, for their third week of school onwards (w/b Monday 22nd September).
