School Day and Timetables

Please note- We are currently under a consultation to extend the school day to 8:45am-3:15pm starting from September 2026.

The school day is 8.45am - 3.00pm.

A free breakfast club is available from 8.30am for all children (infants and juniors). A paid breakfast club is available from 8.15am which needs booking via Arbor.

Gates open at 8.30 and families are welcome to assemble on the playground from 8.30am, until the doors to school open at 8:45am. A member of staff will be on the gate from 8.30-8.55am to support children and parents. Children should be accompanied by a parent or carer until they are safely in school.

Please make an appointment with the class teacher for any 'in depth' or confidential conversations that are needed.

Entry:

  • EYFS - Class 1 enter through their classroom door to the playground
  • EYFS - Class 2 door is by the shed
  • EYFS - Class 3 door is through the gate by the terrapin/community hub
  • Year 1 and 2 - All classes enter through the Infant Hall doors.
Exit:
  • Classes 4 and 6 exit through the hall, via the first set of double doors closest to the hall steps.
  • Class 5 exit through the bottom door (where their room is).
  • Class 7 exits through the doors by the heads office (fire doors).
  • Classes 8 and 9 exit through the hall doors, via the second set of double doors.

The register is taken from 8:55am and all children should be in school by 8:55am.  At 8.55am, all doors from the playground are closed, the gates locked and children should report to the main Reception to be signed in late.

The school day ends at 3pm and the children leave via their year group or class door. The gates will be opened again at 2:50pm.

Although teachers are happy to talk with parents briefly at  pick up, we ask that if you have a more detailed matter to discuss please arrange a mutually convenient time (via the main office).

Please ensure Arbor, the main office and class teacher has up-to-date information on who can collect your child.

We would encourage ACTIVE travel to and from school (walk, bike, scoot or run).  If you drive, please be courteous and find a safe place to park which is not on pavements in front of the school.
